What are we up to now?

Well, it went from sailing the Bahamas to web design in the city! We’re back in Hoboken, NJ where we’ve started a web design and media company. Starting our own business was something we talked about a lot during our cruising adventures on Nami. After almost two years of living one of the most freeing and adventurous lifestyles we could have ever imagined, we wanted to keep that adventure going through entrepreneurship. Of the long list of ideas, web design and digital media services was always at the top. It was something creative we would enjoy doing and it would essentially allow us to work from anywhere (maybe even a sailboat?!). We’re trying to stay in the habit of doing things that make us happy, so we went for it!

The company is called Jib Work Media and our website is www.jibworkmedia.com. You can see that the name/logo has got a bit of sailing inspiration in it! Our services are awesome and affordable, so if you’re looking for a website or any web services (or know someone who is), give us a call : )

Good luck with your new venture. I’m sure it will be a success with the two of you running it.

    Good job choice!

You really can do that from anywhere. Just go sailing up and down the ICW and do work at an anchorage/marina as you go on your trip. I’ve read that there are a bunch of people doing online work that they do as they travel, so they do it from their boats.

Congratulations on the new work and I wish you both great success with it.
