We drove back to New Jersey last week to see Jordan’s first niece! We had expected to drive back this week but she came a little early. Her name is Olivia and she is the cutest, most perfect little thing!
Driving back early ended up working out great because we were able to make it to my best friend Leslie’s 25th birthday party (open bar). We also got to see most of our friends and say goodbye since we won’t be back for awhile.
Being in New Jersey definitely put a hold on boat projects. We did as much, which is not very much, as possible. One of the projects we brought with us was the sails. The plan was to thoroughly examine them – check!, repair some – no check, and clean them – no check. It was just too dang cold to be productive! We also started making some screens for our portholes, copying the idea from a great blog we follow.
